Job OpeningsHead Coach - CEO Model - Moses Lake Manta RaysThe Moses Lake Manta Rays are looking for candidates to fill the position of Head Coach for its year round USA swim team. This team was established in 1959 and is located in Moses Lake, Washington, one of the fastest growing communities in the Pacific Northwest. The team trains in an eight-lane, 25-yard pool on a year round basis, and a 25-yard by 50-meter outdoor pool from mid May to early September. We have great accessibility to these facilities with prime hours and positive community support. This is the only year round USA team in the area. We serve a population of 20,000 in the city area, and a total of 40,000 in the surrounding area. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that has the desire to develop a novice to elite competitive program. This club is committed to follow the USA swimming model for club development and the ASCA model for a coach-run/parent-supported team. This is a wonderful opportunity for a coach to put forth the energy necessary to develop a strong competitive swimming program and a financially rewarding career. The base salary begins at $2,500 per month with multiple opportunities to receive additional income. Medical and Dental Plans are available. Director of Competitive Swimming/Head Coach Join our team! The Central Douglas County Family YMCA is searching for an energetic, enthusiastic, and growth-focused Director of Competitive Swimming/Head Coach. The Roseburg Swim Team (RST) is becoming the Roseburg YMCA Swim Team after 50 years of competitive swimming. RST is the only year-round swim team in the Umpqua Valley, boasting numerous All-American and multiple Olympians over the past 5 decades. Currently we have a swimmer on the USA Swimming National Youth Team. Roseburg Swim Team (RST) is a USA Swimming Bronze Medal club celebrating its 50 year anniversary with the establishment of a new relationship with the local YMCA. The newly formed Roseburg YMCA Swim Team (RYST) is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Director of Competitive Swimming/Head Coach. Qualified applicants should have strong coaching, leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate should have a passion for swimming and swimmers at all skill levels, from novice to international competitor. RYST has tremendous growth potential and needs a motivated coach to write this new chapter of a proud tradition of swimming excellence. The Director of Competitive Swimming/Head Coach is supervised by YMCA management and is supported by a dedicated group of parent volunteers. Our YMCA is located in the heart of the beautiful Umpqua Valley, in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains and 60 miles from Oregon beaches, where quality living is affordable. It is an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise renowned for the North Umpqua Trail which provides opportunities for a variety of recreational pursuits, including hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, photography, fly fishing, and sightseeing in some of the most beautiful settings found in the Pacific Northwest. Lewis & Clark is a nationally-recognized private college in Portland, Oregon. Men’s and Women’s swim teams compete in the NCAA, Division III. Duties include coaching swimming and dryland training sessions, swim meets, and recruiting as appropriate. A strong candidate will have knowledge of stroke mechanics and swim training, as well as the ability to work well with young adults to foster excitement and hard work in a competitive swimming environment. Understanding of D-III swimming a plus. Open until filled. Compensation depends on experience and availability.
